What is the difference between the same-day fee and the seven-day fee?
Count calendar days between the A-B funding date and the B-C resale date. The same day is 1%. A resale within 7 calendar days is 2%. Enter both dates on the request form and the matching fee appears with the file.
How are the days counted?
The count is calendar days, including a weekend that falls inside the window. If both dates are the same day, the fee is the same-day price. If the resale date is anywhere from the next day through day 7, the seven-day price applies. If the dates run longer, send them and we will price that file with you.
What does the percentage cover?
The 1% or 2% is Brittco’s fee on the amount funded. Title fees, recording charges, and transfer taxes stay on the settlement statement with your closer, because they follow the county and the contract.
Use the calculator to see the fee on your amount. The result is an estimate, not a quote.
Where do you check a specific pair of dates?
The request form asks for both dates and shows the 1% or 2% fee when the gap is inside the window. Sending the request starts the file. It is not an approval.
Where should you go next?
Have a double close on the calendar?
Send the property, the amount, and the two closing dates. Same-day is 1%. Within 7 calendar days is 2%.
